This exclusive service are based on a combination of proprietary signals and technical indicators. Examining an opportunity entails a three step process of price volatility analysis, technical number analysis and option pricing.

At the heart, lies the VDO (Volatility Dollar Opportunity) indicator. The VDO reveals the weekly volatility of a given market as a dollar value as opposed to the common percentage, which can be misleading. A percentage fails to represent the monetary significance of a move.

Utilizing the VDO, the trades seek to capitalize on the potential volatility of the following week. This is a buy only options strategy, which holds the options for approximately two days to a week before being offset. Buying premium attempts to capture part of that range. The higher the market moves up in the rankings, the higher the VDO and the higher probability that premium will increase dramatically.

After calculating the VDO of a given market, our analysts then look at a directional trend and apply various technical indicators and analysis. Next is the process of ruling out the markets which are not in the proper price range or do not fit the acceptable risk/reward parameters.

If the signal is on the wrong side of the market, the risk should still be defined and the intention is to risk only a portion of the premium paid.

Of the 16 markets, on average, The VDO Power Moves typically suggests two or three opportunities per week (eight to twelve per month) that fit the appropriate risk/reward parameters, although this could vary.
